You ring to get an appointment - and after holding for 10 minutes to speak to someone, I got told that there were no appointments for a fortnight! I ended up going to the Walk In Centre, who treated me and recommended that I see my own GP Start again...

always told no appointment but can book in for 3 weeks time unless its DR Bigs who overrides the system and cancels the appointments !!! the whole place is not working and getting worse

I was given antibiotics for an ear problem. Four days later I was still in pain. I phoned the surgery and was told to visit straight away. I was seen by the GP who also consulted the hospital prior to giving me stronger medication. I was given another appointment to check the recovery for two days later and again had excellent service. Also another appointment to check progress. In an emergency situation when you need to see a GP, there is no problem. The surgery offer the service which we want and should expect. The majority of the staff are also friendly and helpful. The self check in is ideal when a queue forms. Took me a few seconds to book myself in. We are happy to moan about service but it would be nice if people took the time to praise it as well.

I phoned at 8.40 a.m. On Monday told the surgery of my problem. I was phoned back at 8.50 and told to make my way to the surgery. Was seen by Dr almost immediately treated and was home by 10.35 with my prescription. An excellent service
